LG vs. Samsung: LG and Samsung has been battling it out over the past few years, both inside and outside the mobile industry. 

Last year, both companies released two of the first smartphones with curved displays in the market. However, LG is the clear winner as its device won several design awards, and has even launched already in the US. 

But surely, the proud Korean giant that is Samsung would not give up without a fight. In a recent report by Android Authority, both companies will be releasing new designs for their respective curved handsets. 

Speaking with insiders, ETNews reported that LG would be focusing on reducing the screen size of its curved device while increasing its resolution. 

On the other hand, Samsung is working on a flexible AMOLED display, and considering how gorgeous this display is, it might as well become a game changer in the industry - that is if Samsung manages to pull it off. 

Meanwhile, both companies have also been slugging it out on the wearable gadgets category, and industry sources and insiders expect both Korean companies to beat the other in technology, launch dates and pricing.
