Android 4.4 Kit Kat release date: For LG products that are exclusive in the company's home country, a lot of their owners are already expecting a Kitkat update, and for some of them that wish will finally come true. 

According to a report by GSM Arena, the LG G Pad 8.3 slate and the Vu 3 smartphone are now receiving the Android 4.4 Kitkat update. 

Owners of these devices can get the update via OTA or through LG's Mobile Support Tool. 

Just in case you do not own any of these devices, the Kitkat update will arrive in other South Korea-exclusive handsets such as the Optimus LTE2, Optimus Vu 2, Optimus GK, and the LG GX.
