Upcoming HTC phones 2014: HTC has been having a great time with its new flagship, the One (M8). And while it has been getting some criticisms for tweaking benchmark performance, the high-end device is being received well by its target market. 

According to a report by GSM Arena, a UK retailer insider, whose name was not disclosed, claims that the HTC One M8 mini is already in the works and may be launched in May this year. 

In the report, the device may still get the 90% aluminum design of the fresh One (M8) flagship, but support slightly lower-end specs. 

In case you are looking forward for this 'mini' HTC flagship, then you better check some rumored specs as well. 

Based from the previous mini version of the One (M7), the One (M8) mini could get the same 4.5 display with 720p resolution, 1GB of RAM, a quad-core CPU with lower frequency, and Android Kitkat out of the box. 

The report also shows that the Duo Camera of the One (M8) could be exclusively for the flagship, so the mini edition would only have one UltraPixel camera at the back.
