‘The Witcher 3’ Release Date For Xbox One And PS4 Set For February 2015; World Size For ‘Wild Hunt’ 35 Times Bigger Than Predecessor

"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" release date for PS4 and Xbox One has been announced.

According to Latin Post, the third installment for "The Witcher" franchise for PS4 and Xbox One is expected to be available on February 2015. Reportedly "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt release date for PS4 and Xbox One was originally scheduled for a 2014 launch. However, it was delayed by the developer, Project Red, because the title needed "manual fine tuning" and "thorough testing" in its final stages.

Recently, new information about "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" was revealed during the interview of The Sydney Morning Heralds with the creator of the game. The global head of marketing for Projekt Red, Tomasz Jarzebowski, shared:

"Because we are developing the game for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC, we go nuts in terms of visuals. We want the game to look as beautiful as possible."

He further added, "I think we are in a good moment, we don't have to choose between better graphics or performance on either PC or consoles now, we can just create the best looking game possible."

Accordingly, The Witcher will have 36 different endings. Jarzebowski revealed, "You have three different playable epilogues and within each of those there are 12 different world states, depending on the choices you make. So it gives you 36 variations on how the world can exist at the end of the game."

Moreover, another exciting thing about "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is the size of the world. SMH.com reports that the whole The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is supposedly 35 times bigger than its predecessor. The post further reads, "Combine that with 50 hours of main storyline and at least another 50 for side-quests, and this game starts to look like a behemoth. Jarzębowski claims it takes 40 minutes on horseback at full gallop to cross the world from north to south."

Aside from the Xbox One and PS4 versions of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the game will also be available for PC on Feb 2015.
