Jennette McCurdy, iCarly Star, tells Twitter followers she blames Nickelodeon for Kids' Choice Awards absence, not the leaked nearly naked selfies. Ariana Grande was at the awards, but Jennette McCurdy was a no-show. Is there trouble brewing on "Sam and Cat?"

Jennette McCurdy iCarly Star leaked nearly naked selfies, ran headlines all last week. Since her half-naked selfies threw Jennette McCurdy into a viral overdrive, the iCarly star been keeping herself busy with a number of projects, Jennette McCurdy recorded a new song for her fans. Jennette McCurdy hit 10 million Facebook fans and the iCarly star wanted to celebrate. Despite rumors, it is unlikely that Nickelodeon will cancel Sam and Cat for some risqué photos of Jennette McCurdy. 

But many fans were wondering why Jennette McCurdy was missing from the 2014 Kids' Choice Awards on Saturday (March 29).

Jennette McCurdy took to Twitter to say "My previous tweet has nothing to do with pics leaked... It has to do with how nickelodeon treated me. That's all. Thanks for the love."

Ariana Grande was at the ceremony in Los Angeles to helped honor the "Sam and Cat"'s creator, Dan Schneider, with the Lifetime Achievement prize, but Jennette McCurdy, who has been with Nickelodeon since starring in iCarly in 2007, was nowhere to be found. Jennette McCurdy missed out on the celebrations for "Sam & Cat"'s  Favourite TV Show win.

Jennette McCurdy was nominated for Favorite TV Actress, but lost to co-star Ariana Grande.

Many Jennette McCurdy fans speculated that she is feuding with her Sam & Cat co-star Ariana Grande.

McCurdy told Twitter, "A lot of you guys are asking why I didn't attend the Kcas (Kids' Choice Awards). I wish I could explain everything as thoroughly as I would like to, but unfortunately a simpler explanation is all I can write."

The iCarly star continued, "I was put in an uncomfortable, compromising, unfair situation... and I had to look out for me. I chose to not go because sticking up for what is right and what is fair is what my mom taught me is Always the most important thing. I want to thank those of you who have reached out with kind words of support, MCCurdians (her fans) and Arianators (Grande's fans) alike. No matter who or what you support, I believe in supporting fairness first. If you have done that, thank you."

The 21-year-old Jennette McCurdy, best known for playing Sam on "iCarly" and its spinoff "Sam & Cat," does not appear nude in what the press has been calling naked selfies. iCarly star Jennette, who is best friends with her co-star, the singer Ariana Grande, is seen posed seductively on her bed, wearing a little bra and underwear and showing off a lot of cleavage.

There are now rumors that the Jennette McCurdy selfies might get "Sam and Cat" cancelled. Ariana Grande might be out of a job.Grande says she never planned to be an actor in the first place. She just took the job to get a record deal. Ariana told media outlets "I never liked acting. I auditioned for TV just to get a platform to get a record deal, but then I fell in love with acting because it was fun. After I'm done playing Cat Valentine I don't see myself doing much acting. But I would like to do a scary movie, or a musical."

Earlier this month, iCarly star Jennette McCurdy had three sexy lingerie shots leaked online. Many former child stars break from the characters they grow out of with a show of mature material. Look at Miley Cyrus, she twerked her way out of Hannah Montana with her MTV VMAs performance in 2013. Jennette McCurdy is also on record as saying she's a little tired of the iCarly character.

McCurdy recently revealed that she did not want to continue playing the role of Sam Puckett after iCarly ended. She said "I did not want to play Sam anymore--I was over it. I'm sarcastic and blunt enough in real life that I wanted to do something different."

Could they be pulling a Miley Cyrus? Rumours have been circulating that the show will be pulled after the Jennette McCurdy "naked" selfies were leaked. But the series still has 14 episodes left for the double length first season. 

Sam & Cat is still currently airing on Nickelodeon, New episodes are scheduled to premiere in April.

Mark Walhberg hosted the 27th annual Kids' Choice Awards from the Galen Center at USC in Los Angeles. Jennifer Lawrence and One Direction were the big winners for the night.
