Samsung Galaxy S5 Release Date Hits US Earlier Than Expected, 5.1" Flagship Smartphone Pricing Begins At $820

Samsung Galaxy S5 release date: Since Samsung unveiled its flagship device, the Galaxy S5, a lot of loyal Samsung fans and some Android users have already prepared their stack of cash for its official release date, which is on April 11.

However, a couple of weeks before the official release, the Galaxy S5 has already begun selling in Korean, probably due to tight competition against other Korean mobile manufacturers.

And now in a new report, it appears that some retailers have found a way to bring the Galaxy S5 to the US.

According to GSM Arena, several online retailers have managed to buy a contract-free and carrier-free version of the Samsung flagship from Korea and are now selling them online.

However, you may be surprised at the steep pricing of these products. WElectronics sells the Galaxy S5 for a whopping $900, while Amazon offers it at a slightly manageable $820.

In case you do not want to shell off the extra cash just to get the gadget a couple of weeks earlier, then just head to your local carrier store or its online page to make a pre-order.

Then expect your device to arrive on April 11.

In case you want a quick glance of the Galaxy S5's specs, it packs a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display, 2GB of RAM, a quad-core CPU clocked at 2.5GHz, Snapdragon 801 chipset, and a 16MP camera with OIS.
