Upcoming Sony phones 2014: Since Sony launched the Xperia Z2 at the MWC in Barcelona in February, the only thing we know about the Android flagship in terms of release date is that it has already been made available in several Asian countries, as well as the UK. 

However, no one knew when Sony's high-end device would hit the massive North America market - until today. 

According to a report by GSM Arena, the flagship device from the Japanese manufacturer is set to be officially released for the Canadian market in May. 

In the report, local carrier Bell would be offering the device both on contract and off-contract. And while there are no pricing details yet, we expect that it would not go too far from the £540 off-contract and £42 2-year contract pricing in the UK. 

Meanwhile, the US market will still have to wait for an official announcement regarding the phone's release in the country.
