Nokia Lumia 930: 5" Flagship Windows Phone Announced At Microsoft's BUILD Conference, Packs 5" Display, 20MP Camera, Snapdragon 800, 2GB RAM

Nokia Lumia 930: For months we have been looking forward to Microsoft's BUILD Conference this year to know how far the Redmond company has gone in the smartphone and mobile industries. And aside from officially unveiling the Windows Phone 8.1 update, the company also hosted a number of new Lumias, including the flagship Nokia Lumia 930.

The 5-inch Windows Phone handset has just been announced, and may hit stores around the world in June.

According to a report by GSM Arena, the Lumia 930 packs a 1080p ClearBlack AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 800 chipset, quad-core Krait 400 CPUs clocked at 2.2GHz, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory.

Also on board is a 20-megapixel PureView camera with dual-LED flash, optical image stabilization, BSI sensor, and the capacity to shoot 1080p clips at 30fps.

The phone runs the newest version of the platform, Windows Phone 8.1 dubbed Lumia Cyan. Unfortunately, while the smartphone packs a decent 2,430mAh battery, it does not have a microSD card slot for storage expansion.

Earlier this year, Nokia launched the Verizon-exclusive version of the Lumia 930, the Lumia 929 a.k.a. Icon, which is easily the best Nokia phone to date, especially for consumers who are not fans of the Lumia 1520's 6-inch screen.

In the report, the Lumia 930 would hit stores in June and would cost around $599.
