Upcoming Nokia Phones 2014: Midrange Lumia 630 and 635 Launched, Offers Colorful Options, Packs 4.5" Display, Snapdragon 400, 5MP Camera, New Windows Phone 8.1 Version

Upcoming Nokia phones 2014: A few weeks before Microsoft's BUILD Conference, we have read reports that Nokia is also planning to launch a number of new Lumias at launch. And it turned out all those rumors are true as the Finnish manufacturer unveiled three WP 8.1-powered devices.

Two of these smartphones are actually identical in terms of specs and features, with LTE support as their only difference.

In a report by GSM Arena, the Lumia 630 and 635 were unveiled at Microsoft's press event, and both devices are aimed at the ever budget-conscious mass market.

Packing brightly colored cases, the Lumia 630 and 635 can easily be identified as a cross of Lumia and Asha designs, and that's not a bad thing.

While the phones certainly look child's play from the outside, they both pack decent internals which can get any WP user throughout the day.

Both the Lumia 630 and 635 packs a 4.5-inch FWVGA ClearBlack screen, a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.2GHz, Snapdragon 400 chip, 512MB of RAM, an 8GB internal memory and microSD card slot.

Both handsets also offer a dual-SIM enabled version, the first in the Windows Phone family.

Both Lumias also pack the same 5MP camera, though it does not have an LED flash accompanying it.

In the report, both Lumias, together with the flagship Lumia 930 are expected to hit stores in May or June. The midrange handsets will cost $159 and $169 for the single SIM and dual SIM editions respectively.
