HTC One Max owners can now experience the latest Google mobile firmware by installing the official Android 4.4.2 KitKat update.

As posted on GSM Arena, HTC One Max originally comes with the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. But with the latest Android OS being released for the HTC One Max, owners can now experience the latest features of the device.

According to International Business Times, the official Android 4.4.2 KitKat update has been rolled out to HTC One Max. Particularly, the newest Android 4.4.2 KitKat update is available to HTC One Max units in European countries.

The international version of HTC One Max will get the Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware with build number 2.61.401.3 and baseband build 1.54.401.1. Meanwhile, the Sprint variant of HTC One Max will receive the software build 2.09.651.1. But it should be noted that after updating to official Android 4.4.2 Kitkat update, users will not get the HTC Sense 6 UI, since it is only exclusive for the HTC One or HTC M8.
