Titanfall Xbox 360 Edition Release Date Set For April 8 In US But Game Now Available On Various Retailers; French Copy Confirms 1 GB Free Hard Drive Space Required For Installation

Ahead of theTitanfall Xbox 360 Edition release date, reports are saying that the first-person shooter is already being sold by some retailers.

The official Titanfall Xbox 360 Edition release date is set for April 8 in North America but there are gamers who were already able to grab their own copy of the title. A post on Titanfallblog.com reads:

"We've been sent images of the Titanfall Xbox 360 case by a fan who's been able to get their hands on the game early."

Apparently, the information on the back of the Titanfall Xbox 360 box states that a 1 GB free space is required on consoles that contain a hard drive. This means that Xbox 360 4GB console and Arcade console variant will not be able to install Titanfall without a hard drive.

Furthermore, as reported on VG24/7, a Brazilian store has already started selling the game ahead of Titanfall Xbox 360 official release date. Read the tweets below:

Titanfall Xbox 360 release date was originally set to launch together with the PC and Xbox One versions on March 11 but was delayed by two weeks to give Bluepoint Games "time to put the finishing touches on the game."

It was then delayed for a second time, announcing that Titanfall Xbox 360 release date will happen on April 8 for US gamers while it will arrive in Europe on April 11.

The website of Bluepoint Games, the developer behind the port of Titanfall to Xbox 360 reads:

"Titanfall on the Xbox 360 is the true experience: all the maps, modes, pilots, titans, weapons, burn cards, you name it, found in the Xbox One and PC versions. The game looks great, sounds great, and above all it plays great."
