Jennette McCurdy took to Twitter to openly vent about her issues with the kids channel, Nickelodeon. Reports claim Ariana Grande gets paid 'way more' than she does.

Jennette McCurdy's show "Sam and Cat" has not yet been renewed for a second season, despite its popularity among the network's key demographics. Sam and Cat is one of the most popular on the network, but production was reportedly stopped following the Jennette McCurdy naked selfie leaks. So far a second season has yet to be ordered.

Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards gave "Sam & Cat" awards Favorite TV Show and Ariana Grande won the Favorite TV Actress award.

Jennette McCurdy took to Twitter to say she didn't attend the Kids' Choice Awards because of "how nickelodeon treated me. That's all. Thanks for the love." She said "I chose to not go because sticking up for what is right and what is fair is what my mom taught me..." 

While TMZ reported that McCurdy isn't happy that her paycheck is less than that of co-star Ariana Grande, Nickelodeon thinks all McCurdy needs is a nap. The network released a statement:

"We are wrapping up what was an unusually long production cycle of Sam & Cat, and everyone is understandably tired. We are going into our production hiatus next week which will give everyone on the show a much-needed rest."
