Upcoming PS4 Games This April 2014: Action Adventure ‘Lego: The Hobbit’ Arriving This Friday, April 11; Horror Title ‘Daylight’ Set For Launch On April 29

One of the upcoming PS4 games is set to be released this week.

As posted on IGN, the game publisher Warner Bros. announced that the action-adventure video game "Lego: The Hobbit" will be available this Friday, April 11. Aside from the PS4 version, the Traveller's Tales' title will also be released for Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, PS Vita, Windows PC and Mac.

This upcoming PS4 game, "Lego: The Hobbit" is based on the first two movies of Peter Jacksons' The Hobbit Trilogy, which includes "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" and "The Hobbit: Desolation of Spring." According to a post o Joystiq, citing London Toy Fair, the 3rd film for The Hobbit Trilogy may be part of the game later via downloadable content

Describing the gameplay, the post on GameZone reads:

In the game, you traverse through Middle-earth, joining Bilbo Baggins, Gandalf the Grey, and Thorin Oakenshield and more as they head toward the Dwarven Kingdom of Erebor. In typical LEGO game fashion, you can expect to play as familiar characters and visit key locations from the films.

Meanwhile, the upcoming PS4 game, "Daylight" is also set for launch this April 2014. Although the horror video game was originally expected to be available tomorrow, April 8, its release was shortly delayed for the latter part of the month to "make it scarier."

Announced by Zombie Studios, as cited by Video Gamer, the upcoming PS4 game, "Daylight" will now hit the market on April 29. The developer shared, "Let's not mince words. First news you need to know about Daylight is that we had to delay the release date by several weeks."

The studio further continued:

Here's the thing: the way Daylight is developed is completely different because of its procedural generation. In a lot of ways it really helped the team by streamlining the environment creation, but it's taken extra time to make sure all the scare cues are properly implemented for maximum player effect.

Tl;dr: we're fine tuning Daylight to make it scarier.
