EA Sports UFC release date has finally been revealed.

As posted on EuroSport, the Ultimate Fighting Championship and Electronic Arts Inc. announced earlier today the official EA Sports UFC release date. Accordingly, the game will be available on June 17, 2014.

In addition to the announcement about the official EA Sport UFC release date, EA also announced the "mystery fighter" for the game - who is no other than the Father of Mixed Martial Arts, Bruce Lee.

Shannon Lee, daughter of Bruce Lee and CEO of Bruce Lee, LLC and Chairperson of the Bruce Lee Foundation, shared:

I am so excited about this opportunity to bring my father back to videogames! I'm thrilled that fans can now interact with him in a new way. The EA Sports UFC development team has been incredible to work with, and they've done a great job capturing the look and feel of my father. I think people will love getting a chance to fulfill a fight fantasy by playing Bruce Lee in the new UFC game.

Bruce Lee will appear on EA Sports UFC as a pre-order bonus. Reportedly, the EA Sport UFC players "can fight with the martial arts legend across 4 different weight classes and test his legacy against the best of the best in the UFC."

The team is very excited and tremendously honored to have the privilege of bringing Bruce Lee to life in our game.
