Upcoming HTC phones 2014: The freshly announced HTC One (M8) is undeniably one of the top smartphones there is today. And while it does not provide a lot of upgrades from the previous model, it more than made up for it with an improved design and brushed metal finish.

The flagship's Duo Camera is also something worth noting, though the 4MP UltraPixel sensors do seem outdated for a high-end smartphone in 2014.

However, if you think its retail pricing is still too much for your budget, then you may want to rejoice to hear (or read) this rumor.

According to a report by GSM Arena, a blurred image of what appears to be an HTC handset has been leaked by none other than notorious leakster EV Leaks.

In the report, the unannounced HTC handset will be called HTC One (M8) Ace, and would boast a more affordable price tag. EV Leaks tweeted what appears to be a personal favorite when it comes to revealing unannounced smartphones.

It would first list a number of announced and confirmed smartphones, usually in the same 'family or lineup', and place a check on them. Then it will list another handset that has not been confirmed yet, though it would still be revealed in the coming days or weeks. 

If you are particular about a phone's design, you would be happy to know that the rumored HTC One (M8) Ace is also beautifully-designed like its flagship sibling, though there are evident differences if you look at the image closely. 

Unfortunately, that's all we have got right now about the HTC One (M8) Ace. In case you want a quick rundown of the flagship's specs, the latest HTC smartphone is powered by a 5-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, a Snapdragon 801 chipset, four cores running at 2.3GHz, 2GB of RAM, dual 4MP UltraPixel cameras at the back, and a 5MP front cam. 

Expect the One M8 Ace to get slightly lower-end specs and features to make up for its cheaper pricing.
