Upcoming Samsung Phones 2014: Entry-Level Galaxy Ace Style Officially Launched, Specs include 4" WVGA Display, Dual-Core CPU, 512MB RAM, 4GB Internal Memory, 5MP Shooter

Upcoming Samsung phones 2014: Last week, an unannounced Samsung device appeared in live images in Germany ahead of the phone's official launch. Well, now that the smartphone is official, let's take a good look at it.

According to a report by GSM Arena, the Korean tech giant has just announced an entry-level handset which is aimed for the mass and emerging markets in the industry.

Dubbed as the Galaxy Ace Style, the Android powered device is strictly in entry-level category - that is shown by its WVGA screen and a less than necessary 512MB RAM, which is a bit underpowered even for an Android entry level phone.

In the report, the Ace Style boasts some decent specs such as a 4-inch WVGA TFT LCD display, a qual-core CPU clocked at 1.2GHz, and 4GB of built in internal memory with option for storage expansion through the microSD card slot.

Also on board is a decent 5MP primary shooter at the back, a VGA camera in front, and some connectivity features including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, among others.

The Samsung Galaxy Ace Style also runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat, under Samsung's own TouchWiz UI, and packs a 1,500mAh battery.

In the report, th Galaxy Ace Style will be hitting stores in April and would be available in colors Cream White and Dark Gray. Unfortunately, pricing details have not been disclosed yet, though we expect this to go around the $150 category.

For the past years, Samsung has been bombarding the market with lots of smartphones, ranging from entry-level to high-end. Though recently, the company may already be tasking itself too much.

More and more OEMs for the Android platform are releasing cheaper devices which boast impressive specs, while Samsung still chooses to keep its pricing high, most of the time higher than what the smartphone actually brings to the table.
