GTA 5 PC Release Date Version Leak? Alleged Rockstar Employee Reveals Computer, PS4, Xbox One Launch Announcement

Alleged Rockstar Games employee Todd Gilbert announced his company would reveal Grand Theft Auto 5's PC, PS4 and Xbox One release dates at the upcoming E3 conference, but the rumored developer has no record of working at the organization, the Epoch Times reports.

GTA 5 has been available on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 for more than 216 days, longer than it took Rockstar Games to produce a GTA 4 PC version, leaving many gamers wondering if the fifth main installment's computer release date has been cancelled.

GTA 4 took approximately the same amount of days as it came out for the PC on Dec. 2, 2008-the PS3 and Xbox 360 version were released on April 29 earlier in the same year, Examiner.com reports.

The fourth numbered entry of the series did not end up arriving for computer platform until 217 days after the initial console launch, Examiner.com also reports.

Romanian gaming retailer Altex has listed a June 15, 2015 release date for GTA 5's PC version, along with next-generation console Playstation 4 and Xbox One, the Christian Post reports, giving hope for an upcoming announcement.

The Change.org petition calling on Rockstar Games to release its open-world action game GTA 5 for PC is closing in on 700,000 signatures, Game Spot reports, leaving many gamers wondering if this will put pressure on the developer to make a release date announcement.

Gameranx reported that that many potential DLC apartments for GTA 5's Online version have been revealed.

Callisto Apartments, Augury Insurance, CNT Building, Celltowa, Yacht Club, Puerto Del Sol, Von Crastenburg-Richman and Schlongberg Sachs are some of the properties that can be purchased, the website included in its report.
