PS4 Update 1.7 Release Date Set For Tomorrow, April 30; Official Features Revealed Including ShareFactory; PlayStation App For Android And iOS Also Receiving New Software Upgrade

The PS4 update 1.7 release date is officially happening tomorrow.

According to a post on Computer And Video Games website, the PS4 update 1.7 release date is already scheduled for this Wednesday, April 30. And ahead of the release of the PS4 update 1.7, the official features of the upcoming firmware upgrade have already been revealed.

Reportedly, one of the highlights of the PS4 update 1.7 features is the ShareFactory. As described on VG247, ShareFactory app will appear on the PS4 system after installing the PS4 update 1.7. This feature "allows you to easily customize your gameplay videos with special effects, video commentary with picture-in-picture capability through PlayStation Camera, and custom soundtracks using the included audio tracks or your original music imported from a USB drive." PS4 users can then share the videos on Facebook or export them to an external USB device.
