Resident Evil 7 release date might be revealed soon!

Speculations are circulating online saying that Resident Evil 7 release date and details of the game might be announced during E3 2014.

According to Gaming Bolt, citing Sankei Shimbum,  a Japanese economic paper, Capcom is about to reveal a significant title for the PlayStation 4 this year at E3 2014 and this game is expected to be the Resident Evil 7.

The Electronic Entertaiment Expo for this year is happening from June 10 - 12 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

This recent update also crushes previous rumor suggesting that the Resident Evil 7 release will only be for Microsoft's latest console, the Xbox One. Although the report only mention about a PS4 title, it does not mean that Resident Evil will be exclusive to Sony's latest gaming console.

The post on Siliconera shared, "Japanese media often mention the Sony console when talking about the current generation, so keep in mind that they're not implying that Resident Evil 7 will be an exclusive title."

Moreover, as cited on Siliconera, the Sankei Shimbum  report also noted, "Capcom  have been working on smartphone titles from two branches, located in Osaka and Tokyo, and starting this month, the branches will be uniting as one with their online game development team, to have a synergy effect that will provide mobile games with more knowhow of common online PC game elements, such as transaction methods, and more."

Capcom has yet to make official statements regarding Resident Evil  7 release date for PS4 and Xbox One. But since the E3 2014 is coming, fans  of the game can expect to hear something new about the upcoming horror survival video game.
