LG G3 Release Date: Samsung Galaxy S5 Killer Shows Its Back In Leaked Image, Features 3-Button Setup, Camera Lens, Mysterious Sensor

LG G3 release date: If you are one of the thousands of LG fans waiting for the upcoming G3 flagship, then you got to read this update from notorious leakster EV Leaks

As if we have not yet heard or read anything about the upcoming G3 flagship, a report from GSM Arena once more confirmed that the high-end device would get the same button setup at the back just like the LG G2.

That means, the smartphone's rear will have the power/lock button, and the volum rockers above and below it.

In the leaked image by EV Leaks, it appears that the camera lens would be at the middle, with an LED flash on its right. What keeps us confused though is the other sensor at its left.

So what is it? Well, it can be a fingerprint sensor, or any type of scanner. Of course, this image is not yet the real thing so we can just assume given this detail by our friendly neighborhood leakster.

However, given the track record of EV Leaks, this could be 60-70 percent accurate.

For the meantime, here are some of the rumored specs which have been making the rounds all over the Web for the past couple of months.

The LG G3 is said to sport a 5.5-inch LCD display with a whopping QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution, a quad-core CPU clocked at 2.5GHz, Snapdragon 801 chipset, and 3GB of RAM (though a recent report said a UAP document lists only 2GB of RAM), and a 16MP primary camera at the back.

Other rumored specs include a front-facing camera, 32GB of internal memory with option for microSD card expansion, a 3,000mAh battery, and Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box.

The LG G3 is expected to make its debut in the earlier half of May.
