Nexus 10 2 Release Date: Second-Gen 10 Inch Tablet Arriving This 2014 Despite Rumors Of Cancellations And Delays? Google Slate Arriving Alongside Nexus 6 And G-Watch?

There is no clarity until now whether there will still be a Nexus 10 2 release or if the project has been officially axed by the internet search giant.

According to a post on International Business Times, there will be no more Nexus 10 2 release date, as well as Nexus 7 3, since only one tablet from Google Nexus tablet is set to arrive this year. Reports stated that it will be the Nexus 8, the HTC-manufactured tablet with 8.9-inch screen.

Citing the report from DigiTimes, the post noted that "Google's sole tablet offering this year will reflect a major redesign effort from the Nexus maker and its device partner from Taiwan."

Meanwhile, according to a report on Motoring Crunch, Nexus 10 2 might still arrive this year together with other new products from Google. The post stated that Nexus 6 smartphone and G-Watch are anticipated to launch later this year.

Will tech fans see a Nexus 10 2 release alongside the Nexus 6 and the Google's smartwatch? If Nexus 10 2 release will push through this year, some of the specs it might be equipped with, according to Trusted Reviews, are 10.1-inch Full HD WQXGA display with 2,560 x 1,600 resolution and 300 ppi pixel density and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

As for the processor, the Nexus 10 2 is allegedly going to have a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, paired with 3 GB of RAM. Nexus 10 2 might come with a 9500 mAh battery.

Furthermore, it is most likely that the Nexus 10 2 will get the latest Google operating system when it launches and it can be the follow up for the Android 4.4. Kitkat update or the rumored Android 4.5 and Android 5 OS.
