Users of Samsung Galaxy Note 2 can now install official Android 4.4.2 KitKat update.

According to Android PIT, a new version of the Android 4.4 KitKat is currently out for the international version of Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Users of the phablet can only install the official Android 4.4.2 KitKat update if they own one of the units bearing the model number GT-N7100.

Users should receive the Over-The-Air notification to automatically install the official Android 4.4.2 KitKat update on Samsung Galaxy Note 2. However, Samsung Galaxy Note 2 users who cannot wait for the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update to arrive on their device can opt for the manual installation process.

Installing the official Android 4.4.2 KitKat update on Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will require the use of ODIN tool. Also, users are advised to be extra careful as they proceed with installing Android 4.4.2 KitKat update since issues might arise if the process is not followed carefully.
