Pixies Tour 2014: American alternative band pixies are set to release their first album after over 23 years, particularly in 1991, where they released 'Trompe Le Monde'.

The Pixies' new album, called "Indie Cindy" is now being streamed in SoundCloud and will be available for sale starting April 29 on their website ep3.pixiemusic.com

Pixies are on tour around the world this 2014 as they are set to play a few shows in Australia on May then heading to Spain, US and Peru.

The Pixies is currently on tour with touring bassist Paz Lenchantin, who didn't appear on the album even former bassists Kim Deal and Kim Shattuck.

The recording for the bass parts, however, was don by "Ding", also known as Simon Archer who was joined by Black Francis, Joey Santiago and David Lovering.

The new album, however, received praises in different sites including theguardian.com, which was reviewed by Michael Hann, who said that the creation of Indie Cindy is a great addition to the discography of once a cult group that became a band that was admired by many.

"If this had been released a year after their last album, it would have fit perfectly adequately into Pixies' discography," he writes. "What Goes Boom is a properly thrilling opener, possessing one of those sinister riffs Black Francis used to turn out at will; it's followed by Greens and Blues, in which the patented stately-acoustic-guitar-overlaid-with-spectral-electric-lead-line Pixies trick is deployed effectively."

The tracks for "Indie Cindy" were produced by Gil Norton, same guy who produced Doolittle, Bossanova and their 1991 record, Trompe Le Monde.
