Upcoming Xiaomi Phones 2014: Mi-3S Flagship Spotted Online, Specs Snapdragon 801, 2.5GHz Quad-Core CPU, 3GB RAM, Android Kitkat, All For Around $320

Upcoming Xiaomi phones 2014: Xiaomi has been doing very well in the Chinese smartphone market, and some analysts are saying that it could be the first real threat to the Apple-Samsung rule.

The company has recently stated that it is now eyeing international markets including those in Latin America, Middle East, and Asia where it could release its super affordable smartphones.

So would Xiaomi's handsets stand a chance against the tight competition away from its home market? Its upcoming flagship device could be an example.

We are slowly getting more details about the upcoming high-end device from the Chinese brand, and from what we have seen it would surely be a great bargain for Android fans in general.

According to a report by GSM Arena, the Xiaomi Mi-3S flagship phone has recently appeared in a couple of leaked images, showcasing its frame and build.

In addition, a number of its specs were also confirmed when it passed through AnTuTu's benchmark. In a screenshot of the app, the Xiaomi Mi-3S smartphone packs a quad-core CPU clocked at 2.5GHz, a Snapdragon 801 chipset similar to that of current flagships today (Galaxy S5, HTC One M8, etc.), and 3GB of RAM for superior multi-tasking.

However, what is surprising to see here is the Android version, which is 4.4.2 Kitkat, the latest. For people who often pass on Chinese-made smartphones because of the outdated OS, this could be the exception.

Other rumored specs include a 5-inch display with 1080p resolution, which is currently the standard in most Android flagships.

With all of these juicy specs, reports are pointing to a potential pricing of just $320. If that would be the case, then you can buy two Xiaomi Mi-3S phones with the same amount of money that only a single Samsung Galaxy S5 can buy.

So with this type of smartphone, do you think Xiaomi has a chance to dominate in the international mobile market industry?
