NBA Trade Rumors: Kevin Love To Warriors For David Lee And Harrison Barnes? Better Than Anything The Lakers Can Offer! Will Former UCLA Star Settle For The Dubs?

Kevin Love is right at the center of the NBA trade rumors. All the scouts agree that he is leaving Minnesota. The Timberwolves missed the playoffs again, and Love has left for California.

If Love calls California home, then why won't he play for any of the four (yes, FOUR) NBA teams that are located there? He will get to answer that question in 2015, but Minnesota might help him out to get there a year earlier.

There is not one of the California teams who would not accept Kevin Love, a two-time rebounds champion who averaged near over 26 points a game this season.

From ESPN: "The Warriors are in an interesting position, being one of the few teams that can offer a combination of quality, win-now talent and youth with upside in trade. No trade target fits Golden State more ideally than Kevin Love, with his rebounding, passing and, of course, shooting. The Warriors would greatly benefit from his ability to space the floor, giving them one more drop-dead shooter on a team that lacks shooting outside of its starting backcourt. A packaged centered around Lee and Barnes might move the needle, given Lee's status as a stat-stuffer and multiple All-Star and Barnes' reputation as an underutilized or misused lottery talent."

Kevin Love will definitely make the playoffs with the Warriors-something he has NEVER experienced in Minnesota. Also, it's not that far from LA-the weather is also warm.

There are some risks involved, though. Theoretical trades are always easy, but there are intangible factors. Love will have the option to be a free agent next year and his LA connections are still pretty strong. Golden State would ask for an assurance that Love would sign an extension with them.

On the other hand, Minnesota will probably ask for more. David Lee's contract is steep at 30 million for 2 more years. They would likely ask for draft picks and throw bad contracts at the Warriors (possibly Alexey Shved).

But this is something to think about. Love to the Warriors will make them instant favorites. He will possibly join a powerful lineup of Curry, Thompson, Iguodala and Bogut.

Will this trade rumor become real?
