Grey's Anatomy Lawsuit Strikes Season 10 Amidst Cristina Yang, Sandra Oh Farewell: Original Cast Members Sara Ramirez, Justin Chambers, Sign On For Season 11 And 12

As "Grey's Anatomy" heads toward its season 10 finale, drama has surfaced in the form of contract negotiations and a lawsuit.

Wet Paint reports that ABC is currently facing a gender discrimination lawsuit lodged by a former "Grey's Anatomy" crew member.

Reportedly, Timothy Day filed the lawsuit specifically citing director photography Herb Davis for subjecting female directors to "verbal abuse and inferior terms and conditions of employment."

This is sadly interrupting "Grey's Anatomy" season 10 amidst its farewell to Cristina campaign before the finale. As fans know, actress Sandra Oh will have her final episode on "Grey's Anatomy" during the two-hour event.

Sandra Oh recently finished filming her final scenes for the ABC series, and will hopefully move on to great things.

But this is not to say "Grey's Anatomy" cast members will be leaving left and right. In fact, quite a few originals will remain with the show beyond season 10.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Sara Ramirez, Chandra Wilson, Justin Chambers, and James Pickens Jr. have all signed two-year deals to remain with "Grey's Anatomy" until season 12.

Earlier in January, Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey both signed similar deals for an additional two years.

So while Meredith may be saying goodbye to her person, fans will still see familiar faces when the series returns in the fall.
