‘Interstellar' Movie Teaser Released! Trailer To Premiere In 'Godzilla!' Anticipation Builds For Christopher Nolan's Most Ambitious Project!'

The 'Interstellar' movie has released a teaser poster. So far, this is the only material they have released since the teaser trailer last December. A longer trailer is set to be released in the theatrical run of "Godzilla" on May 16.

The teaser poster had the caption: "Mankind was born on Earth. It was never meant to die here,"

While it still seems very vague and the Nolan production continues its policy of maintaining secrecy, it does give certain clues about the plotline. The element of space travel is obvious, and it has already been revealed that there will be explorers led by Matthew McConaughey. His character, Cooper, was described by Christopher Nolan as an 'everyman.'

The element of the 'wormhole' has also been an open secret. To be specific, Nolan abides by Kip Thorne's wormhole mechanics and the physicist is actually a consultant on the film. The wormhole is what they will use to make interstellar travel possible as it transcends the boundaries of time and space.

The key phrase there is 'time and space.' We know about traveling physically-the 'space' element, but what about 'time?' Will the explorers go to the future or try to alter the past? Or will they not travel through time at all?

What we do know is that this is probably the most anticipated movie of the year-which is worthy of Nolan who has made some of the best films in the last decade. Yet, as lead star Matthew McConaughey points out, he plans to take it up a notch in Interstellar. He narrates to Variety:

"Here's what I can tell you, It's the most ambitious thing he's ever done. And he's done some ambitious stuff. ... There's no fucking around on set. He's a great problem solver. In that way, he's very indie. Here's a guy who could have whatever budget he wants - and we finished shooting early."

How was he 'recruited' by Nolan: "He came up to me and said, '"Mud." I love that movie.' I sat down with him for about 2½ hours at his house. Not one word came up about "Interstellar." I walked out not sure what to think. I mean, he's not a guy who takes general meetings."

Two Hollywood giants in a very intriguing project. That alone will make "Interstellar" a mist-watch. November 7 is the date!
