Upcoming HTC phones 2014: When the HTC One max was rumored to make its debut late last year, a lot of people were optimistic that it would be the company's best phone for the year, just like the Galaxy Note 3 of Samsung. 

Apparently, it featured identical inner specs to the HTC One (M7), which is not exactly a bad thing, but it did not level up and reach the expectations of the market. 

Yes, it did have a fingerprint sensor, but it offered little to no value to the device. 

Because of the failure of its first flagship phablet, it looks like the Taiwanese manufacturer has learned its lesson. 

According to a report by BGR, there are talks and rumors all over the Web that HTC will be launching another phablet version of its One M8 flagship. 

Dubbed as the HTC One M8 Prime, the mythical device could be the best Android smartphone to be released this year - that is if it will stay true to the rumored specs listed here. 

In a report by an HTC fan blog HTCSoku, the upcoming phablet would get monster specs unlike anything we have seen to be released so far. 

It is rumored to get a bigger 5.5-inch display, but with a much higher resolution - QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440). That is pretty much high end already! But wait there's more!

Other notable specs include a Snapdragon 805 chipset, 3GB of RAM (the highest ever in an HTC device), and USB port 3.0. 

However, what could be its main highlight is its own Duo Camera that has been introduced in the HTC One M8. But it won't have 4MP, 8MP or 13MP. The report said the HTC One M8 Prime's duo camera would get 18MP EACH! 

We are getting too much worked up with these news, and we're sad to get back to reality that all of these features are not yet confirmed. But in case these specs turn out to be true, would you buy this 'Prime' phone from HTC?
