Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro Review: Specs Of 13.3” Ultrabook Incl. Core i5 Haswell Processor, 4 GB RAM, 128GB SSD; Affordable Laptop With Quality Specs To Boot

Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro review: Running on 1.6GHz Intel Core i5 Haswell Processor with a Windows 8 operating system, the Yoga 2 Pro sports quality 4 GB RAM, 128 Solid-State Drive, 13.3-inch touch screen interface, and a flexible body at a relatively low price. With the specs and features that it has to offer, users of the Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro have clearly gotten their money’s worth.

At 3.06 pounds, the Yoga 2 Pro is about a third of a pound lighter than its predecessor. In the market, it is as light as the Samsung ATIV Book 9 Plus and even thinner than the MacBook Air at 0.61 inch in thickness. Although the screen folds smoothly at all sides, the body is solid enough. Plus, because of the additional rubber rim edges of the screen, your laptop has an extra cushioning if it’s upside down in Tent Mode.

With a resolution of 3200 x 1800 pixels, its display is an incredible upgrade from the last Yoga which only has a 1600 x 900 resolution. Because of the stellar touch screen quality, compact pixel display, and bursting 72 percent color gamut, the Yoga 2 Pro’s display is at the MacBook Pro’s Retina display level.

Under the hood, this ultrabook is powered by an advanced Haswell processor, with 4 GB RAM, and 128 GB SSD. And after engadget.com’s bench test, the specs guarantee the sound performance of a high-end machine.

The Yoga 2 Pro’s only drawback is its battery life. According to Lenovo, its 4-cell Lithium Polymer battery can live up to 9 hours. But that’s only in standby or idle mode. When in use, it can last for 6 to 7 hours.

With all its powerful key features, the laptop starts on a mid-range price of $1,000, with a special promotional price of only $929.

From its well-built flexible body, crisp and vibrant screen, to the high-end specs, the Yoga 2 Pro is definitely one of the best ultrabooks in the market.
