EL7Z UP: 'Queendom Puzzle,' & Debut With 'CHEEKY'

"Queendom Puzzle" is a spin-off of the two Mnet survival programs "Queendom' and "Queendom 2." The show's production was announced in April 2023, when Mnet confirmed that it will be launching a new global project girl group.

The show aired from June 13, 2023, to August 15, 2023, and was hosted by Taeyeon of Girls' Generation. Initially, the lineup included Lee Chaeyeon and LABOUM Haein, but the two idols dropped out due to personal reasons.

Regarding the contestants, the lineup was filled by members from various K-pop girl groups including Cherry Bullet, Weeekly, H1-LEY, tripleS, MOMOLAND, Rocket Punch, Lovelyz, LIGHTSUM, PURPLE KISS, WJSN, woo!ah!, AOA, and CLC.

It also included participants from survival shows Girls Planet 999 and GIRL'S RE:VERSE, along with Japanese idol groups AKB48, BNK48, and NMB48. The contestants were pitted against each other, as the program engaged them through individual and group battles.

Eventually, the lineup was finalized with members Hwiseo (H1-KEY), Nana (H1-KEY), Yuki (PURPLE KISS), Kei (Lovelyz), Yeoreum (WJSN), Yeonhee (Rocket Punch), and Yeeun (CLC).

EL7Z UP is currently active on their social media accounts. On their X (Twitter) account, EL7Z UP members Hwiseo and Yuki uploaded a clip showing them having fun on a swing, and netizens were more than happy to see an update.

Meanwhile, the clip trended on the platform, where fans speculated that a comeback is now brewing behind the scenes.

Hwiseo and Yuki also uploaded content to EL7Z UP's Instagram account on April 14, which showed the two dancing in the same playground, much to the amusement of fans. On the platform, this makes the first post in their group account since Yeonhee's photos on January 1.
