RHONY Episode Breakdown! Sonja Morgan A Sh*tty Friend To Luanne, Heather Thompson Speech Impeccable And Kristen Taekman Takes Her Unappreciative Real Housewives Of New York City Husband To Therapy
RHONY Episode Breakdown! Real Housewives Of New York City Recap this week was a descent episode. Kristen Taekman and her husband's marital problems are on display and infuriating to watch this week on RHONY as the model and her business owner hubby admit their problems in therapy. Josh is such an unappreciative stubborn man who really doesn't care about Kristen or their family. He puts himslef first time and time again and he doesn't even realize that his wife is awesome! The RHONY newbie says she doesn't think her husband loves her in this episode. She's gorgeous, witty, easy going, and a great mother. As for Ramona Singer, I am so sick of the Housewives franchise throwing storylines about their spoiled rich children going to college and the Housewives being sad about it. As soon as this came on the screen, I thanked my DVR for letting me fast forward through the ridiculous scenes. Who cares! Ugg, moving on. I really enjoyed watching the blossoming friendship between Heather and Carole. I wonder why it was Heather's responsibility to throw Carole's 50thbirthday, but whatever the reason, Heather was happy to make her friend's party perfect. Heather's toast was hilarious, as Thompson can always create humor in a classy and carefree way.
I'm angry at RHONY star, Sonja Morgan in this episode. Let's start with her breakdown. Morgan should have been more supportive of LuAnne's breakup with Jack, but she made it about herself. Sonja is self-absorbed and the flakiest Housewife in New York City. Speaking of Sonja, I think her storyline with Harry Dubin was staged. I don't believe Harry loves Sonja and according to RHONY insiders, the ring Harry gave Sonja was actually Mario Singer's grandmother's ring that came onto set last minute for Sonja and Harry to come up with an interesting storyline. But Housewives fans are not buying it! And of course to add to Real Housewives drama, Harry leaves the party with Luanne. I don't think Luanne is attracted to Harry at all (maybe they've had one drunken make out session years ago) and the drama on the New York City show was stretched due to failing ratings. Aviva was once again on the show for all of two minutes, which is actually a positive.
Bravo is really cleaning out house as the entire RHONY cast is officially on the chopping block! Ramona Singer is the only housewives cast member on RHONY that is safe from getting the boot. Real Housewives of New York City ratings are at an all time low this season, getting beat by all of the other Real Housewives shows in the franchise and even brand new Bravo reality shows are topping RHONY. It's shocking that a huge metropolis as big, diverse, busy, and rich as New York City could not bring as much drama and energy as Real Housewives of New Jersey and even Real Housewives of Beverly Hills or Atlanta. Even RHOC is killing RHONY in the numbers and Real Housewives of Orange County is having their worst season yet. Bravo wants to start fresh with a while new RHONY cast next season instead of axing the entire show. But I really like Heather, Carole and Kristen and was hoping to watch their friendships blossom.
