Xiaomi Mi4 Specs & Price Revealed? Rumored Android Flagship To Have 2K Display, Will Cost $599.99; July 22 Launch Date Expected

Xiaomi Mi4 specs and price may have finally been revealed. The highly rumored Android flagship may have a 2K display and will be retailing for $599.99. These are the latest news on the much awaited handset that is expected to be unveiled next week, July 22.

The International Business Times, citing the website Xiaomi World and BGR India as source, reports that it has listed an unannounced Mi4 for the price of $599.99 with key features and snapshots.

The listing shows that the upcoming handset has a 5.5-inch 2K display, 538 ppi, Android 4.4 KitKat, 2.5GHz Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB inbuilt memory.

Other key features of the smartphone include a 13-megapixel camera with Optical Image Stabilization and a 5-megapixel snapper on the front. It also shows that the unit has a 3200 mAh battery.

The listing shows the Xiaomi Mi4 having a metallic brown hued back-case with the ominious “Mi” embellishment below the camera module and shows that it has LED flash. On the front side of the unit, there’s a camera at the top-centre and a speaker grill above it.

Specs listed on the Xiaomi World website is deemed believable, the International Business Times reports, and is looking like a very worthy upgrader from the Mi3. There is way, however, to verify the authenticity of the listing.

The CEO of Xiaomi, a company considered the “Apple of China,” hinted on July 10 via Facebook post that the Xiaomi Mi4 may have a steel body. Another recent Facebook post by Xiaomi also show a rear-side of a big silver hued device with the press invites for the 22nd of July, an annual product launch event for the company.

According to the International Business Times, the Facebook post’s tag indicate, “The Journey of a Piece of Steel” with a statement – “Yes, the letter is made of a real piece of steel, what do you think? Would you like to come to the event if invited?” The tease simply presents the fact that the next generation of Mi-series phones will boast a steel-back case.
