Miami Heat Fans Angry At LeBron James! Miami Radio Show's Full Page Ad Mocking LeBron Rejected By Cleveland Newspaper! ‘They Don’t Want Our Money!’

The Miami Heat fans are apparently still bitter with their former superstar hoops player, LeBron James. While they did not burn any jersey (that we know of), they attempted to post a full page ad in a Cleveland based newspaper that mocked LeBron James and Cleveland fans in general.

The ad was an idea of the Dan LeBatard Show, a radio show based in Miami. The Cleveland Plain Dealer reported:

"Representatives of The Dan LeBatard Show called the Cleveland media outlet on Tuesday to purchase a full-page advertisement in this Sunday's edition of the newspaper, Northeast Ohio Media Group Vice President of Sales and Marketing Mike Maleski confirmed. NEOMG sales staff are responsible for ads in The Plain Dealer.

The show's request was 'politely declined,' Maleski said.

LeBatard acknowledged during his show, which airs on Miami radio station The Ticket, that the ad was rejected. The show would have raised the money to buy the ad space through the online crowd-funding website Kickstarter.

LeBatard also said during his show that part of the reason he wanted to buy ad space in The Plain Dealer was because LeBron James has yet to publicly thank Miami Heat fans.

LeBatard said his show was also attempting to buy a full-page advertisement in The Akron Beacon-Journal."

The ad was supposed be a mock-up of the advertisement that was posted on Twitter. It depicts the two official Miami Heat championship rings (2012 and 2013) above the words "You're Welcome, LeBron." Right below that, it was supposed to read: "Sincerely, Miami Heat Fans."

On his radio show, LeBatard boldly declared: "They have declined our money. They do not want our money. They will not allow us to put our ad in the paper."

While he claims that it was not meant to be 'mean-spirited' the radio personality knows that there will be fierce backlash from the Cleveland Cavaliers fans who just welcomed their prodigal son back.
