Apple iWatch Release Date Set In December Just In Time For Holiday Shopping, Tipped To Pair With 5.5" iPhone 6

For the past couple of years, Apple fans and tech geeks have been waiting for the reported Apple iWatch release date, and even last year everyoone thought the device was ready to go.

Apparently, that is the same thing that is happening nowadays, and we're slowly becoming worried that Apple may not launch the highly anticipated device in the market.

However, in a recent report by GSM Arena, the long wait could finally be over by the end of the year as the iWatch release date may hit markets in late November to early December, just in time for the holidays.

Moreover, the device will not be launched alone, but alongside the Cupertino manufacturer's first phablet to arrive in the market, the 5.5-inch iPhone 6.

With the launch of the iPhone 6 and the iWatch at the same time, it seems Apple plans to follow the lead of other OEMs such as Sony, Samsung and LG who have already launched their own wearable devices, and most of which have been paired with the company's current flagship.

As for Motorola, the Moto X+1 flagship could also be announced at about the same time as its smartwatch, the gorgeous Moto 360, which is agued by many as the device to beat for the iWatch even before it gets announced.

In recent reports, the iWatch is rumored to pack a sapphire display, iOS 8 with home automation functions, and health-related fitness and tracking apps.

Once the iWatch release date kicks of later this year, Apple will need to take care of business as far as competition is concerned. Android already has a handful of wearable devices, and being priced less is one of their main strengths.

Are you excited about the iWatch or do you think it will just be another wearable device that would fail?
