Barclays Premier League: Ross Barkley says hello to a four-year deal with Everton

 Ross Barkley has signed a new four-year deal with Everton. The new contract for Barkley runs until the end of the 2017/18 season; Barkley also broke into the England squad and has tasted victory for grabbing nine caps and got featured at the 2014 FIFA World Cup this summer.

  "Signing a new contract is a dream," Barkley told a press conference. "I've played for Everton most of my life. This is a big thing for me," he said.

He added: "It didn't take any persuading. As soon as I got told about it I wanted to sign."

Barkley was full of great encouragements and praises by Bill Kenwright, the Everton chairman, and his manager Roberto Martinez. "Everton and Ross have always been the perfect fit - Roberto has made it even more special," Kenwright told evertonfc.com.

Kenwright continued: "This was an important agreement and, I have to say, was conducted in a way that showed clearly the devotion to Everton Football Club of everyone involved."

Barkley already made his Barclays Premier League debut for Everton last August 2011. At the age of 20, he had loan spells at Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds United during the 2012/13 season.

        The Liverpool-born football player, who has appear through Everton's Academy after blending in the club at the young age of 11, marked his breakthrough in the first team in the 2013/14 campaign; had 34 appearances and six goals as the Toffees attained a record point haul of 72 and succeed for the UEFA Europa League. To sum up, he has made 47 Barclays Premier League appearances.

         He was the fourth-highest in terms of completed dribbles in the past season of Barclays Premier League and was on the shortlist for last season's PFA Young Player of the Year. He had victor the Everton Young Player of the Year award and the club's goal-of-the-season award.

         Talking with a lot of figures, in Barkley's 2013/14 BPL season in stats declared 34 matches, 6 goals, 50 incredible shots, 1232 passes, 80 completed dribbles and 140 attempted ones.
