Sharknado 3 Yet Another One? SyFy May Want Fans to Pick the Next City For Sharknado Attack

SyFy says "Sharknado 2: The Second One" isn't the last we'll be seeing of this shark-infested thunderstorm. Syfy says a sharknado will rain down on another city next year.

The network greenlighted "Sharknado 3″ long before "Sharknado 2: The Second One" took such a bite out of the ratings.

SyFy hasn't said where "Sharknado 3″ will be set. But the network hinted that the city might be chosen from fan input.

SyFy put up a Sharknado 3 webpage that teases "Coming in Summer 2015, another city will be devoured by flying sharks when the new Original Movie Sharknado 3 premieres. But which city will it be......"

Ian Ziering told HollywoodLife.com "Thunder Levin, the writer of the films has steered us well. I am hoping this is a seven course meal! I would like the third installment be taken to foreign shores! Sharkpocolypse Now!"

The former 90210 star told FOX411 that he thinks "Sharknado" will become a regular summer event.

"They've already green-lit 'Sharknado 3' and because it's a television movie they can turn these around pretty quickly," Ziering said. "It doesn't make sense as a series, but as a summer event they'll have a year of hype to build up to it and as long as the fans continue to want it, Syfy will continue to bring it."
