‘Black Panther’ Movie: Wakanda King Better Than Batman? T'Challa Has Better Tech And He's A Monarch! Will The Dark Knight Surrender?

The "Black Panther" movie has yet to be given the official greenlight but the A-list of young black actors are already making a play for the role of T'Challa AKA The Black Panther-a hero that is often compared with Batman.

There are many contrasts between the two characters. Both of them have dark themed costumes coupled with brooding personalities. They are both geniuses (to say the least) and since they are financially endowed, they have awesome technology. Also, both heroes have witnessed their parents' murders.

There were some movie writers who boldly declared that Black Panther is better than Batman, who is probably the most famous superhero in the world. From Movie Pilot:

"This is a project that fans have been DYING for ever since the scene in Iron Man 2 where we saw that there were more heroes around the world, and saw a blip on Africa. For those who have never heard of this superhero, Black Panther is basically Batman, except better."

There was an expected uproar, but the concept of an imaginary clash between the two heroes is not entirely new. Comic Book Movie made the analysis:

For Batman: "He's everyone's favorite vigilante. He's a tactical genius, world's greatest detective as well as a world class martial artist. He is also the world's greatest detective and one of the world's greatest tacticians. He is peak for someone of his weight/height/age/build in every category including speed, agility, strength and reflexes. He also uses multiple high tech gadgets that can give him the advantage in a battle."

Unlike Batman, though, T'Challa cannot assume a secret identity since he is the King (at least in Wakanda). He uses a different approach entirely.

For Black Panther: "He's got a great tactical mind, he's had to protect his nation of Wakanda from all types of threats. He received physical enhancements from the panther god after he ate the herb. He too, has great technology including a suit that absorbs kinetic energy, anti-metal laws and an energy dagger. Black Panther is also a master of the African martial arts and is also extensively trained in multiple other ones."

The match was declared a stalemate and neither hero or their rabid fanbases would surrender anyway, so the debate would always continue. Sadly, we may never see them in action on the big screen against each other. However, it's high time we see Black Panther in a solo film. The first black comic book superhero is no longer the first to make it onscreen. War Machine, Falcon and the upcoming Human Torch in the Fantastic Four beat him to it.
