NBA Rookies 2014: Jabari Parker Will Have The Best Career According To His Peers! Dougie McBuckets Ahead Of Andrew Wiggins Is Biggest Surprise!

The NBA Rookies 2014 are starting to be given some importance, and that stretches to their opinions. The annual rookie survey results have been released, and one of the most talented draft classes attempts to determine the best of the best!

It's not all about talent, it's also about being a good fit. Since they are rookies and not free agents, it's all about luck because they have no control. Luck is not on Andrew Wiggins' side these days.

Despite being insanely athletic and talented, first overall pick was tossed in a whirlwind with everything happening with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Jabari Parker, who's probably more complete at this point, was picked by a team that needed all his skills.

In NBA.com's rookie survey, Parker was voted to win the 2014-15 Rookie of the Year Award. But the sad part for Andrew Wiggins is that he was also voted to have the best career! It was always mentioned that Parker is ready now, but Wiggins would develop more in the long term as he has more upside. His fellow rookies don't see that.

Another blow for Wiggins is that he was actually tied in second place in the Rookie of the Year question. Doug McDermott, who Chicago traded for was penciled in to be in the perfect situation to excel and thus, he could share the second spot with Andrew Wiggins.

Other interesting picks:

Zach Lavine of the Minnesota Timberwolves edging out Andrew Wiggins (again!) for the most athletic question. Let's hope that this may inspire a big showdown at the All-Star Game. Lavine and Wiggins can really bring it. Funny thing is, Lavine and Wiggins are likely to end up as teammates before the season begins.  Aaron Gordon of the Orlando Magic., aka Blake Griffin 2.0 finished third in this category.

For the best playmaker, Dante Exum, a heralded player from Australia and picked fifth by the Utah Jazz finished only fourth. Tyler Ennis of the Phoenix Suns, Kyle Anderson of San Antonio Spurs and Marcus Smart of the Boston Celtics.
