Chris Brown Karrueche Tran Split Over Rihanna Instagram Love or On Texting and Cheating Rumors; Rihanna's Ex, Chris Brown Parties It Away on St,. Tropez

Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran split after Chris Brown played the Rihanna card once too often.

Karrueche Tran and Chris Brown ended their three-year relationship either because Brown learned Tran was texting other guys and using him for publicity or that Tran dumped Brown because the R&B singer "liked" a photo of ex-girlfriend Rihanna on Instagram.

TMZ reported that Karrueche changed her phone number so Chris couldn't reach her.

Chris Brown is reportedly missing his former girlfriend Rihanna after his split with Karrueche Tran. An insider told HollywoodLife.com  "It's sad, but the only one he ever really trusted was Rihanna and that's because she didn't need sh*t from him."

Karrueche Tran and Rihanna were reported to be "fighting a battle" over Chris Brown. Speaking on the talk show "Just Keke," Tran said the pressures of falling in love with RiRi's ex came out of the blue.

"I've never dated a celebrity before," Tran said  "so it was a very new to me. Paparazzi and all that. And then, even the situation with Rihanna, you know the reason why people tuned into this so much was because it's relateable. I have girlfriends, I have family who's gone through the same situation."

Tran continued, "It's the case of the ex. We all go through it, do you know what I'm saying? But, however ... in this case my boyfriend is a celebrity who's ex-girlfriend is an even bigger (celebrity.) So not only am I fighting a battle with her, I'm fighting a battle with 14 million fans or however else. So, imagine how that feels for me when I gotta get on Twitter and see a bunch of stuff."

During the interview, Karrueche got so upset she had to take a break to compose herself. 

HollywoodLife.com said this upset Brown at the time, quoting a source saying "He felt awful seeing her cry. He knew those tears stem from what he'd done to her in the past and how he treated her. When he watches sh** like that, it makes him look at himself and realize just how fu**ed up he's been and how the women in his life feel. Moments like these give him the opportunity to see how those closest to him view him - and how he makes them feel."

But it Brown didn't make Brown feek sad enough to cancel a yacht party in St. Tropez boatful beauties. 

"And Saint Tropez, you know that's he and RiRi's most favorite spot in the entire world." It's definitely interesting that Chris would flee to his favorite spot with a previous love to relax after a brand-new breakup," a source told HollywoodLife.com
