Moto 360 Price Starting At $249? Could This Be The Best Wearable Device On The Planet?

The upcoming Motorola smartwatch is considered one of the best in the wearable industry, and its tipped Moto 360 price of $249 is only a testament that it is indeed among the most awaited devices today.

In a recent  report the device is said to be made out of plastic, which is contrary to what Motorola announced.

If the manufacturer announced it, then it must be true.

And so in a new report, a live Moto 360 was pictured together with an LG G Watch.

In the image, we can see that while the LG G Watch looks more like a smartwatch running on Android, the Moto 360 looks like a watch, period.

It can also be noted that as far as the image is concerned, the Moto 360's display is far brighter than the G Watch, or it could just be the lighting.

Luca Viscardi, the man behind the images, said that the Moto 360 is capable of running for 2.5 days on a single charge. That's significantly better than what its competitors currently offer to the market.

The LG G Watch, in all its glory and battery enhancement features, is only able to bring 1 day of function with moderate usage. In the report, the Moto 360 eclipses the G Watch, and probably even all the Galaxy Gear devices both in functionality, features and especially design.

The Moto 360 has wireless charging as you can see in the image above, and it will boast a metal chassis as stated in the inscription at the back of the device which says Stainless Steel 316L.

While there are still no specific details about a Moto 360 release date, we are pretty certain it will arrive in September, probably during the IFA event in Berlin. We would also not be surprised if it would come paired with Motorola's upcoming flagship, dubbed the Moto X+1.
