Upcoming Lenovo Phones 2014: Vibe Z2 Pro Is A Monster Phone That Can Take On The LG G3 And Even The Unannounced Galaxy Note 4

If you are an Android fan and you want to get the best smartphone possible, then you better take a look at one of the upcoming Lenovo phones for 2014, none other than its flagship, the Vibe Z2 Pro.

The Chinese manufacturer launched the device a couple of days ago, weeks before the IFA event where mobile makers are expected to announce their own flagship and high-end smartphones.

So what does the Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro have to offer? Based on its listed specs, it's basically a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 killer, and all of the previously-released smartphones in the previous quarter will certainly have a tight battle with this monstrous phone.

First up is its 6-inch IPS display, but nothing beats such a huge display with a QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution screen, making it the first device to get the 6-inch and QHD pairing.

On the processing side, the Vibe Z2 Pro packs the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset (MSM8974AC), a quad-core Krait 400 CPU clocked at 2.5GHz, and 3GB of RAM. There is Adreno 330 GPU on board to bring out the best out of entertainment and gaming graphics performance.

The phone packs a 32GB of built-in memory which is more than enough for the moderate user, although the downside is that it does not have a microSD card slot for storage expansion.

At the back of the device is a 16MP primary camera with optical image stabilization and dual-LED flash. The 6-inch phablet runs on a 4,000mAh battery which should have no problems powering the device for several days straight on a single charge.

The Vibe Z2 Pro supports two microSIM cards, one with 3G and the other supporting LTE bands.

For the finishing touches, Lenovo encapsulated the Vibe Z2 Pro in a metal frame and back that certainly scream premium.

So is the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 4 ready to take on the Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro? We'll see in the coming weeks.
