Game Of Thrones Season 5: Set Location Revealed; Spoilers, Casting, Premiere Date, & More

Cast members and production crew for Game of Thrones Season 5 were spotted on the beaches on Ireland by a number of social media fans.

Games of Thrones series creator George R.R. Martin hinted at the possible death of character Tyrion Lannister in the upcoming season, the International Business Times reports.

"I love all my characters, of course, but Tyrion has always been a favorite," he said during a recent interview, according to the site.

"I want to be on the edge of my seat. So, the deaths are important and at all times necessary," he added later on.

He also revealed he will not be involved in the upcoming season 5 casting and production.

 "I've got to finish the book 'The Winds of Winter,'" he told Vulture.

"So I don't think I'm going to do a set visit this year, sadly."

Game of Thrones characters Sam and Jorah have been rumored to be cut off from Season 5 of the show, Unreality Primetime reports, but their characters are expected to be featured in future casting and may remain.

Game of Thrones is using almost all new directors for Season 5 of the show, TIME reports, leaving many fans wondering if its premiere dates risks being cancelled because of casting changes.

The show's developers, however, have denied a number of spoilers and rumors that the premiere date will be changed.

Game of Thrones Season 5 is being filmed in Sevilla, Spain and has been for the last month, Christian Today reports.

The highly-followed television show is rumored to have an April 2015 premiere date-HBO has not confirmed a particular date, prompting a number of spoilers online.

Game of Thrones Season 5 will focus on George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" book series, but are also rumored to be centered around his "A Feast for Crows" and "A Dance with Dragons" books.

HBO has not announced official new casting for the show.
