English Premiere League Transfer News: West Ham United Roster Update & Trade Rumors [PREVIEW]

West Ham United has rejected Stoke City's £3 million bid for player Peter Crouch, prompting trade rumors of discrepancy among English Premiere League teams as transfer season continues.

The second-place championship team is currently in the process of updating its roster. So far, Allardyce has managed to add Ecuadorean forward Enner Valencia, who is temporarily injured. He was picked up for £12 million.

"He (Valencia) needs to do at least three weeks' work before we'd consider him for the first team," Allardyce said during a recent interview, according to The Independent.

"So yes (I want to sign a new striker). I hope it happens before Tottenham, I'm keeping my fingers crossed."
