Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Release Date: You May Get Your Hands On The New Android Phablet On September 15, Suggests Leaked Company Email

A couple of days ago, we reported that the unveiling of Samsung's best phablet ever would be on September 3 in a scheduled Unpacked event. But when would the exact Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date be?

According to a new report by GSM Arena, the guys at SamMobile were able to get a hold of a company email its employees stating that there will be 'black out' dates between September 3 to 7, and September 15 to 28.

While the letter did not specify why those dates are blocked, we may just have the answer already.

The Unpacked event during the IFA showcase in Berlin is not a minor press launch and it will begin on September 3, which could be the reason why those dates are 'blacked out', meaning employees would not be allowed to take leaves.

On the other hand, the September 15 to 28 portion could be a revelation that the Korean tech giant plans to have the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date on those days.

Last year, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was announced at the IFA event during the first week of September, and the company later released the smartphone on the 20th. This means the Galaxy Note 4 will be launching 5 days earlier, at least in markets where it would be bound to hit the market first.

Previous rumors have pointed out that the Galaxy Note 4's biggest rival, the iPhone 6 from Apple, will be announced on September 19, with the release date following immediately.

However, a recent report this week claims that Apple has moved the launch date to September 9, still a few days behind Samsung. However, the release date of the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 could still be on the 19th.

It looks like Samsung wants to have the advantage over the iPhone 6 in terms of availability, even if that advantage is only 4 days.
