Mauricio Isla grabbed his pen and paper in signing for Queens Park Rangers on season's loan from Juventus.

The 26 year old player, who take part in at right-back, in the centre of defence or in midfield, featured in all four of Chile's matches in the recent 2014 FIFA World Cup and signed for QPR despite interest from a number of clubs.

"Everybody knows the Premier League is the greatest league in the world", said Mauricio Isla

"He's a top player and we're delighted to have him here," Harry Redknapp, the QPR manager, told qpr.co.uk."He showed his quality in the World Cup for Chile and it's a great loan signing for us.

He added: "He's a versatile player, he's full of energy. I'm confident he'll be a really big asset for us this season."

Isla is said who has 51 caps and was reported excited by his "new adventure". His delightful face talked in public,

"Everybody knows that the Premier League is the greatest league in the world and the QPR proposal is very interesting and one I am very excited about," he said. "I hope this coming season is going to be great for both the club and myself. I will give 100% in every game to help QPR in the Premier League."

Isla first moved to Europe back in 2007, when he left Universidad Catolica, in Santiago, to blend in Udinese. After five years here, he attached himself to Juventus but struggled last season for a regular starting place at the Serie A champions.

Isla represents the Redknapp's fourth acquisition of the summer after Redknapp Rio Ferdinand (Manchester United), Steven Caulker and Jordon Mutch (both Cardiff City).  Redknapp's team begin their Barclays Premier League campaign against Hull City on 16th of August.
