'Metro Redux' Release Date, New Trailer, Gameplay, And New Achievements: Re-Release Of "Metro Last Light" And "Metro 2033" With Improved Graphics For Xbox One And PS4 [VIDEO}

4A Games has just released a trailer for "Metro Redux" highlighting improved AI, and comparing how the games look on last generation consoles to Xbox One and PS4.

"Metro Redux" will be taking "Metro 2033" and "Metro: Last Light" and polishing them up with higher graphics for next-gen consoles, 4A Games is revamping the gameplay, as well as the visuals.

Enemy AI will be improved, as will combat and stealth mechanics, while weapon handling is described as "superior" and more responsive. Controls have been made more intuitive. Metro Redux will also come with all of the DLC release for both games.

This includes Ranger Mode for both games, as well as new playstyles, 'Survival' (get through the game with limited resources and tougher enemies) and 'Spartan' (get more powerful combat skills and loads of resources).

Metro Redux will be coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC on August 26th in North America and August 29th in Europe. You'll also be able to purchase "Metro 2033" and "Metro: Last Light" separately as digital downloads for $24.99 each.
