Ed Sheeran Dating Taylor Swift? Girlfriend and Chef Athina Andrelos Getting In The Way Of The ‘Everything Has Changed’ Singers’ Relationship [PHOTOS]

Taylor Swift is allegedly furious that Ed Sheeran has a serious girlfriend, Athina Andrelos. The reportedly on-and-off again couple, who remain very close friends, Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran are apparently going through a rough patch.

According to Yahoo Celebrity, Swift is jealous that she has to share Sheeran with another woman. The "Love Story" singer has been taking a break from dating life recently, after a series of highly publicized failed relationships to some of the world's biggest stars, including Harry Styles, John Mayer, and Jake Gyllenhaall.

Friends with benefits? It seems that Taylor Swift's lack of a boyfriend has made "Sing" artist Ed Sheeran her stand-in beau for emotional support and otherwise. Referring to Swift, a source told Yahoo Celebrity, "She can't stand the fact that he's fallen for someone--Ed's been like her boyfriend substitute for the past 18 months, and suddenly he's not available for any more."

But the blonde bombshell was not always uncomfortable with her bestie's new girlfriend. The source continued, "She has met Athina and at first she was OK about it."

Still, as the months have passed and their relationship continues to go strong, Taylor's feelings have taken a turn for the worst. The Yahoo Celebrity source explained, "But now Ed and Athina are getting more serious she's turned into a green eyed monster. Ed was always available to call 24/7, so if Taylor wanted to call him at 3am it wasn't a problem but now it's suddenly awkward."

The two friends and collaborators have spoken openly about who they think each other should date, according to J-14. So why would the "22" singer feel so bitterly about her friend's exciting new love?

Chances are these feelings have been blown out of proportion - since Sheeran and Swift have a noticeably strong bond. Hopefully the drama is just a small bump in the road, and that Swift will continue to support her friend whoever he chooses to spend time with!

In the past couple of months, we've seen Ed Sheeran and Athena Andrelos appear in various Instagram pictures on Athina's page. From the two cuddling on a luxurious yacht to the "Don't" singer kissing an adorable kitten (which started all of the rumors of their relationship in the first place), the cute couple seems to be spending lots of quality time together.

According to the Daily Mail, "Rumours about the pair's relationship first came to light in April but Ed seemed to dismiss the claims when he told Capital FM: 'No, I'm not dating a model...She's not a model, and she's 5 ft 2 if this girl's worried about her being 5 ft. 4! She's not a model at all, or a musician!'"

While the Greek brunette once worked in the music industry, she became a food sylist manager under "The Naked Chef" Jamie Oliver's company. Ed told Us Weekly that Athina's chef skills are impressive - especially when it comes to cooking up a Greek feast!

Athina's cooking chops are definitely something she shares in common with Taylor, so hopefully the two can someday bond over their love of food (and Ed Sheeran) in the kitchen!
