Android Apps Free Download: New Angry Birds Game 'Stella' To Launch In September 4, Rovio Working On 'Transformers' Version As Well?

Are you a fan of one of the most popular Android apps free for download of all time? Yes, that's Angry Birds from Rovio, and they're still developing Angry Birds games.

This latest version of the Angry Birds franchise, dubbed as 'Stella' would be a first for the company as the game would feature an all-heroine cast. We will be introduced to new characters all of which have unique skills which can be used within a game, although we're still unsure about them.

Like previous Angry Birds releases, Rovio has included an in-depth storyline that consists of the evil Gale, who turns out was a the gang's former friend. For some reason, the antagonist has some connections with green pigs which she uses to foil herself from the attacks of her former friends.

In the report by Android Community, Angry Birds Stella will be launched on September 4, and based on previous game titles from Rovio, this is expected to be a freemium game as well - free to download from the Play Store but offers in-app purchases in the game to progress easier.

However, aside from Stella, the award-winning game developer may also be preparing another Angry Birds version, and this could be its coolest concept yet.

During Comic Con last month, Rovio released a teaser trailer of a Transformers game concept that obviously will include our most loved bird friends. Is it going to be a classic shooter? No one knows just yet, but it sure is a game to watch out for.

Through the years, Rovio has been using different game elements and mixing it with its Angry Birds game theme. Aside from the movie inspired Angry Birds Rio and Star Wars, some versions include the racing themed Angry Birds Go, and the RPG Angry Birds Epic.
