Ms Marvel To Debut In ‘Guardians’ Sequel? Vin Diesel ‘Inhumans’ Tease A Misdirection-What Other Roles Would He Play In Phase 3 And Beyond?

Two days ago, Vin Diesel teased his 70 million plus Facebook fans with a caption that 'Marvel thinks I'm Inhuman.' The speculation that he was going to play Black Bolt went ablaze all over the internet! Is Marvel really going to make it that easy for us?

Granted, many of the suspected roles for Vin Diesel have already been assigned. Thanos is already assigned to Josh Brolin and Paul Bettany has taken the mantle of Vision. It is doubtful that he will take Dr. Strange (his physically imposing frame would be more useful on someone else) and for obvious reasons, he probably won't be Black Panther.

Who else could he play? It's a safe bet that it would be a major role (Diesel is a Hollywood A-lister) which can either be a lead role or a major villain. Think of Diesel's "Fast and Furious" compatriot Dwayne Johnson who is currently shuffling on Captain Marvel or Black Adam for Warner Bros.-DC.

There is also this very strange statement he shared last year, weeks after his infamous meeting with Marvel. From EW:

"Marvel was excited about bring a different kind of relationship, a different kind of love story, I guess kind of inspired from the Dom-Letty relationship, into the Marvel universe."

Referring to his role in the FF series, the near-unanimous guess was Thanos but now that's off the table. It could also be the Vision, who married the Scarlet Witch in the comics. If what he means is that they are both members of the team, then yes, it would be Vision. But that's also taken.

So who else?

Black Bolt did marry Medusa, his cousin (insert reaction here) and of course part of the royal family of the Inhumans, which is sort of their super hero team.

Adam Warlock is a possibility or Nova, but the love story angle would be off left field. Unless you consider this tidbit from Marvel.com:

"The Guardians are about to welcome two new members, including Captain Marvel and one Mystery Marvel Superstar you'd never expect to see with the Guardians of the Galaxy! And this mysterious character is about to set off a chain reaction that takes our heroes to the farthest reaches of space, on a collision course with one of the deadliest threats in the cosmos!"
