Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Release Date: Here's What The Best Android Phablet Looks Like, Gets Metal Frame, Improved S-Pen

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date is just around the corner, and right now we take a first look of the Android phablet through an alleged leaked image.

According to a report by GSM Arena, the upcoming Samsung smartphone appeared in several leaked images, which showcase a metal frame just like the Galaxy Alpha, though the back casing looks like it was made from a different material.

Last year, the Galaxy Note 3 launched with a unique faux leather back cover that was certainly embraced by Android and Samsung fans due to its stylish design. We will not be surprised if the Korean tech giant does the same with this upcoming phablet in order to get enough attention.

In the report, the back of the device looks like some kind of leather though we're still not sure.

As far as rumored specs are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will be a monster device with its 5.5-inch display with QHD or 2K (2560 x 1440) resolution, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset, 3GB of RAM, quad-core CPU clocked at 2.5GHz, and 16GB of internal memory with a microSD card slot.

At the back of the device will be a 16MP primary shooter that has OIS, while in front would be a 2MP shooter.

All of the Galaxy S5's juicy features will also be present including the heartrate monitor, fingerprint sensor, and even a UV sensor.

There are also rumors that the new phablet would get an iris sensor as well, though you may want to take it with a pinch of salt.

The Galaxy Note 4 will be unveiled during at Samsung's Unpacked event during the IFA in Berlin next month. Are you excited to meet this new phablet? Or do you prefer Apple's own version of the phablet?
